Patrick van Dun, MSc, DO

Patrick van Dun hat eine Praxis für Osteopathie in Mechelen (Belgien) und in Habichtswald-Dörnberg.
Er ist ein Board of Trustees Mitglied des Centre for Osteopathic MEdicine Collaboration (COME) mit Hauptsitz in Pescara (Italien), eine non-profit Organisation für wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen in der Osteopathie. Er ist Vorsitzender und Mitgründer der Commission for Osteopathic Research, Practice and Promotion vzw (CORPP).

Bis vor kurzem war er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Université Libre de Bruxelles, Department of Osteopathic Sciences, Research Unit in Osteopathy, Brussels, Belgien. 

Er erhielt seinen Master of Science in Physiotherapie und motorische Rehabilitation an der Katholischen Universität von Leuven (Belgien) im Jahr 1989 und schloss in 1993 seine osteopathische Ausbildung am COC ab, organisiert an der Freien Universität von Brüssel.

Patrick unterrichtete an verschiedenen Europäischen osteopathischen Ausbildungsinstituten und war Experte bei verschiedenen Organisationen (KCE, NVAO, NBN). Er war wissenschaftlicher Direktor am German College for Osteopathic Medicine (GCOM) in Wiesbaden in den Jahren 2000 bis 2006, und von 2010 bis 2012 war er wissenschaftlicher Direktor der Fakultät Klinische Medizin und Biotechnologie, der Donau Universität Krems (Österreich). Patrick war zwischen 2007 und 2015 Vorstandsmitglied im Belgischen Berufsverband für Osteopathie (BVBO). 

Patrick van Dun has a private practice as an osteopath in Mechelen (Belgium) and Habichtswald (Germany).
He is a Board of Trustees member of the Centre for Osteopathic MEdicine Collaboration (COME), Pescara (Italy), an interdisciplinary foundation for osteopathy excellence. He is the chair and co-founder of the Commission for Osteopathic Research, Practice and Promotion vzw (CORPP), a non-profit organization that promotes osteopathic scientific research in Europe.  

He got his M.Sc. degree in Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy at the Catholic University Leuven in 1989 and completed his osteopathy studies at COC, organised at the Free University of Brussels, in 1993.

Patrick has lectured at several European colleges for osteopathy and has been appointed as an expert by several different organisations (KCE, NVAO, NBN). He has been the Scientific Director of the German College for Osteopathic Medicine (GCOM), Wiesbaden (Germany) from 2000 till 2006 and Head of Research of Osteopathy, Department Clinical Medicine and Biotechnology, Danube University Krems (Austria) from 2010 till 2012. Patrick has been a research collaborator at the Free University of Brussels, Department of Osteopathic Sciences, Research Unit in Osteopathy, Brussels (Belgium) from 2012 till 2016.
